Busy people with busy lives are often restricted in the amount of time they can spend away from their work or home. Serious consideration must always be given to the pitfalls of a shortened treatment period.  Often than important job that you just must get back to disappears completely following another relapse. Or that child that you must get back home to care for is taken into care following another relapse. The length of treatment today is far too short as it is without trying to shorten it further. But there are some where 3 or even 4 weeks is all that is available but there is another short window of opportunity a few weeks after discharge.

Returning to the original treatment facility to finish treatment is not always beneficial. The Peer group may have changed with some having discharged and new patients admitted.  Valuable time is lost with you getting to know your new peers and them you.  Recovery in Reality recognises this problems and offers a bespoke treatment package in your home environment following a period of residential treatment.

A member of the Recovery in Reality clinical team will travel to your home and deliver an individualised treatment programme enabling you to finalise treatment as well as take care of important other commitments.  This arrangement, which Recovery in Reality has a lot of experience in delivering, only works if you give the same commitment as you hopefully gave during your residential stay.
